php and js interaction: wait for js to return a value before continuing
i'm new to js and php, i'm currently developing an e-commerce platform which includes a javascript (
It's basically a simple javascript function that i need to call at the end of the "showcart" button.
The problem is: I'm trying to call a php function inside the javascript function, which returns false if the product details are in stock.
However, the js function is not waiting for the php function to return a value, and the form is being submitted with the data, which is obviously not what I want.
